Oh my goodness. I stink at this. Week One was fantastic. Week Two was VBS and I fell apart. I don’t even understand how something that only lasts 3 hours in the evening can wreck the whole week’s schedule, but it did. Maybe I’m just making an excuse. Probably I am just making an excuse. But now, here it is July and I’m still where I was at Week One. Sigh. So, I’m going to give this thing one more try. New start date . . . basically TODAY.
100 DAYS. 3 GOALS.
- Lose 15 pounds
- Declutter my house
- Create discipleship curriculum for Fall 2018
GOAL 1: Lose 15 pounds
I mostly maintained my Week One weight loss of 4 pounds. I just gained one back. And honestly, I don’t even know how I did that! This week I am focusing on just eating reasonable portions and logging all my food. My secondary focus will be steps. It’s so stinking hot here in Tennessee so I will be getting those inside.
GOAL 2: Declutter my house
Although in the previous weeks I have not really gotten any more decluttered, we did do a makeover of our Family Room! I’m so happy with how it turned out. In place of decluttering, I was painting or out hunting down accessories so this is not a complete loss of the goal. Ultimately, having the room done has made me keep it perfectly straight!
If you listened to the audio version of the blog, here’s the coffee table my husband made! Aren’t you impressed?
GOAL 3: Create discipleship curriculum for Fall 2018
Still trying to finish up the LeadTrack curriculum for our summer series. I’m still waiting on my husband to finish writing so I can create a smooth transition between the class and the discipleship group. I do have all my topics broken down into weeks, so there’s that!
I am working hard at not listening to my own negative self-talk. Regrets will not help me move forward in my goals! Here’s to a new week of transformation! #letsdothis
